Georgia on my mind!

Wow, I can't believe how fast this month has gone. We are packing the truck up on Saturday, then heading to my Uncle's for the night. On Sunday morning we are headed to Georgia. Adam will be driving the truck and Hay and I will be in our car. It should take about eight hours from my Uncle's house. I have a feeling it will be longer because now that Hayleigh is potty trained, every two seconds she says she needs to go. I think Adam will be like, "LETS GO! I want to get there", since I will have to call him every time we stop. You know how men can be.  Anyway, we are really excited to move into our first rental house, lol. We have been packing a lot this month, and we are just about finished. Hayleigh has been a big help so we can't forget to thank her too, lol.  Yesterday we were packing up our room and she was putting everything she could find into the box. It was funny but annoying cause then we had to unpack it. She really was trying to help, then she started asking, "This Mommy and This Mommy??"so she could put it into the boxes.  I really couldn't get mad at her.  I wonder if Hayleigh really knows whats going on, and if she will love her new house. Georgia here we come!!!

Our Little Perfomer

Hayleigh loves to sing and dance and to perform for people. If you are not looking and watching her she will make it a point to come and get your attention. Daddy was playing Guitar Hero and she was singing. It was so funny I couldn't stop laughing. She didn't want to stop singing even when it was time to put it away. Had to post some of the pictures......

In The Kitchen!

On Sunday Adam wanted to make homemade spaghetti sauce. He went shopping and got all the ingredients, and he hates to go food shopping. Its my Uncles recipe, and it came out amazing. We made enough for a couple weeks. Since we are moving we are trying not to go food shopping, so we can just wait until we get to Georgia. Anyways, while he was making the sauce, I ran to the store to get a few things. I found an apron for Hayleigh that I couldn't resist. It was so cute. I rushed home so she could wear it and help daddy in the kitchen. I got home, put the apron on and let her stir the sauce. She loves to help in the kitchen. She also likes to unload the dishwasher and hide in the cabinets. That's her favorite thing to do, ha ha.  When I'm cooking she is always up my butt, wanting to do something or should I say get into something. I hope when she gets older she will like to cook because I really don't care for it. Everyone always cooked for me so I never really had to. Now being a wife and a mommy I have to. I guess its not to bad, but I just hate trying to figure out what to make for dinner every night. It's nice when Adam makes dinner which is very rare, lol.  Here are some pictures of her helping in the kitchen. Our little chef. Now she needs a chef hat and she will be just like her Uncle Shawn.

Loving The Box!

Hayleigh loves to help pack. I pack, she unpacks. So I decided to let her play in a box while I packed a few things. She was entertained for about 15 minutes, then on to the next thing. Thank God I was a Preschool Teacher before a Mommy, so I'm aware that a two year old has about a two minute attention span, lol. Have to keep her busy, so I decided to put on her favorite Movie for the moment, Monsters Inc. I swear it changes every other week, but she had other plans. So guess it may take me a little longer to pack then I thought. Oh well, the joys of being a mommy.

4th Of July!

We had a great fourth weekend. We drove like three hours to go see my Uncle and Aunt. We went swimming and had a bbq and just relaxed. My uncle is a really good cook, everytime we go there we get spoiled. Hayleigh loved the pool and all day just wanted to swim. I'm really glad she loves the water. We didn't mind to much because it wears her out :) After all that swimming we went downtown to watch the fireworks. It was really hot and it was like 7pm when we left the house. There was so many people there, it was crazy. As soon as we got there Hayleigh of course had to use the potty. We had to wait like a half hour for the bathroom. I was holding Hayleigh I swear I thought she was going to pee on me.  Every minute I was telling her, " Please hold it,we are almost there. She said "Okay mommy." It was cute because she had no idea what I was saying lol.  After that mission we finally made it to our seats. I felt liked it took forever for the fireworks to start. Then Hayleigh spotted the fire truck next to us. So my uncle took her over there to see the truck. Hayleigh loved it,they let her sit in the drivers seat. After messing around on that forever, she still didn't want to get down. It was finally dark and the fireworks began I was so excited to see Hayleighs faced when they started. As soon as the first one went off she started crying she didn't like it at all. It was so loud and the fireworks boom was echoing off the buildings behind us. She kept saying, "GO DADDY! GO DADDY!"she wanted to leave. Toward the end she started to warm up, but still hated it. Oh well there is always next year

Dress Up!

Hayleigh loves to dress up. She puts weird things together, but I love it and that's just how she is. So the other day she goes up stairs in her room and is quiet for about 10 minutes. I start calling to her because I do not trust her alone. She gets into everything. She comes down stairs wearing bunny ears, her wings from Halloween and her necklaces around her neck. Then she goes right into the fridge and gets juice without asking, because she thinks she is grown for some odd reason. I was laughing at her because she looked so freaking cute but funny at the same time. So I had to take some pictures of her, in her outfit she put together. Everyday she seems to amaze me with the things she comes up with. She is growing up so fast! Where does the time go? I remember like it was yesterday when we were so excited she rolled over! We cheered so loud it freaked her out.  Or when she sat up for the first time. Wow, its truly amazing how she came into our lives and blessed us. Everyday I try to think back when it was just Adam and me. Its weird because I feel like she has always been a part of us. I love her so much and even though she drives me crazy, she keeps me on my toes, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Happy Father's Day!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day! We had a great day. We  got up, had breakfast then hung out and watched movies all day. My favorite kind of day. We took Daddy out to lunch the day before so we would beat the crowd on Father's Day. I had to go to work that night and it was crazy. Hayleigh and Daddy went fishing for about 10 minutes, then came back in cause it was so hot. Hayleigh has a fishing pole and loves to go fishing with her daddy. She is terrified of the fish just like her mommy, lol. It's cute watching her, she never has her fishing pole in the water just the grass. She is my girlie girl and I absolutely love it. Well anyways, I dressed Hay up in daddy's clothes. I took some pictures so we could put it in a frame we made for him. The pictures came out so adorable, so did the frame. We had a lot of fun making it. On Saturday Hay and I went to the store to get a card for daddy. While in the aisle she yelled "Minnie" and grabbed the card and ran from me. I'm like wait, let me see, and it was the perfect card to give him. Maybe I should always let her pick them out.
