"Fun in the Sun"

It was a beautful day on Sunday, so we decided to bring Hayleigh to the pool. At first she was always scared to go in the water, but when Nana came to visit she really got Hayleigh to overcome her fear of it. Daddy always gets her in but usually scares her in the process, then she won't want anything to do with the pool. We have two pools in our complex but we always go to the one next to our house. We found out the other pool has a baby pool so we decided to take her to that one instead. It took her a minute to get in but once she did she had so much fun. She didn't want to leave. We really love taking her to the pool.

Babysitting

We had a nice relaxing weekend. On Saturday we babysat Ryan and Cameron. Hayleigh loves going to their house. She absolutely adores them.  We ate pizza and watched Bedtime Stories. Hayleigh really wasn't into the movie so she played with their blue exercise ball instead. She loves to bounce on it and roll around. Well anyway, she decided to sit on Ryan and mess with him. She farted on him and he yelled so loud. He said, 'Gross, she farted on me."  For the rest of the night he wouldn't let us forget it, lol. When we were ready to leave, we got Hayleigh up. It was like one in the morning. We got her in the car and she was wide awake.  She kept on asking for Cameron.  So we proceeded to tell her she was night night. She really didn't understand why she couldn't see Cameron. So as we pulled into our complex she screamed, "No home, No home." She had no idea it was one in the morning. We were so ready for bed.

Easter

We had a great Easter and i hope everyone else did too. Adam's Dad and step mom came to visit.  We had so much fun. Hayleigh had a ball with her grandparents. On Easter day we had an egg hunt. We hid 42 eggs for Hayleigh and she found every single one, lol. Then we spent most of the day at the beach since it was so beautiful out. We came home and had a  wonderful dinner. Pop made shrimp and scallops over Linguine and it was so yummy. Much better then ham and potatoes. Then for dessert we had strawberry shortcake. It was nice to have some family around on a holiday for once. The night before Easter we colored Easter eggs and Hayleigh loved it. She stuck her whole hand in the dye and turned them all different colors. Her favorite part was putting Winnie the pooh stickers on the eggs. It was so much fun watching her and she was having a blast. Its wonderful watching her do new things. She is so independent and hates when you try to help.
