Dress Up!

Hayleigh loves to dress up. She puts weird things together, but I love it and that's just how she is. So the other day she goes up stairs in her room and is quiet for about 10 minutes. I start calling to her because I do not trust her alone. She gets into everything. She comes down stairs wearing bunny ears, her wings from Halloween and her necklaces around her neck. Then she goes right into the fridge and gets juice without asking, because she thinks she is grown for some odd reason. I was laughing at her because she looked so freaking cute but funny at the same time. So I had to take some pictures of her, in her outfit she put together. Everyday she seems to amaze me with the things she comes up with. She is growing up so fast! Where does the time go? I remember like it was yesterday when we were so excited she rolled over! We cheered so loud it freaked her out.  Or when she sat up for the first time. Wow, its truly amazing how she came into our lives and blessed us. Everyday I try to think back when it was just Adam and me. Its weird because I feel like she has always been a part of us. I love her so much and even though she drives me crazy, she keeps me on my toes, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Happy Father's Day!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day! We had a great day. We  got up, had breakfast then hung out and watched movies all day. My favorite kind of day. We took Daddy out to lunch the day before so we would beat the crowd on Father's Day. I had to go to work that night and it was crazy. Hayleigh and Daddy went fishing for about 10 minutes, then came back in cause it was so hot. Hayleigh has a fishing pole and loves to go fishing with her daddy. She is terrified of the fish just like her mommy, lol. It's cute watching her, she never has her fishing pole in the water just the grass. She is my girlie girl and I absolutely love it. Well anyways, I dressed Hay up in daddy's clothes. I took some pictures so we could put it in a frame we made for him. The pictures came out so adorable, so did the frame. We had a lot of fun making it. On Saturday Hay and I went to the store to get a card for daddy. While in the aisle she yelled "Minnie" and grabbed the card and ran from me. I'm like wait, let me see, and it was the perfect card to give him. Maybe I should always let her pick them out.

Count down to our move!

Here is a picture of our new house!  We have  37 days left until our move. We are pretty excited to move into a house even though we are only renting. It's so much bigger then our  little apartments we are use to renting. One of the things I am really looking forward to is the big back yard. We have a huge deck in the back that the landlord just had redone.  We are looking forward to having lots of bbqs and watching Hayleigh run around until she is tired. I really want to get her a pool and slide or something of the sort. Adam says he is really excited to cut the grass. I give it two weeks and he won't want to do it anymore, lol. It should be pretty cool to have extra things to do, like plant some flowers or have a little veggie garden. But that is just adding to the million of things I already do. Well, Hayleigh might like getting her hands dirty and picking all the flowers around the house. I have so much packing to do and really dont know where to start. Hay has so many toys she doesn't even play with. I really can't see myself getting rid of them. I feel like I can't throw anything away of hers.

No More Diapers

Wow, it's hard to believe just a week and a half ago I was just starting to potty train our little girl. Now she is already in big girl panties, and no more diapers. I thought it was going to take months to be honest with you. She had a couple of accidents but it hasn't been that bad. When she has to go she says, ''Mommy Mommy hurry hurry", and takes off running to the potty. Hayleigh pulls her panties off and throws them. Then after she pees in the little potty, she has to pour it out into the big potty. She then says, "bye bye pee pee". Then she just wants to run around naked. Daddy hates it so much. I think its funny because in a lot of my baby pictures I'm always naked too, lol. So anyway, the other day I was using the bathroom, mind you I never get privacy, and Hayleigh barged in  saying, "Mommy, what you doing?" I'm like, "Going potty". So while I'm sitting on the potty she proceeds to flush the potty and says, "Bye bye Mommy's pee pee." Isn't motherhood grand? Hayleigh is awesome while we are out and about because she always tells me she has to go potty. I'm glad it only took a week. No more diapers, yipeeeeee!!!

A day at the Pool

It's been raining a lot so when ever it's sunny we hit up the pool. I must say Hayleigh is doing better than ever. She is so independent. I can't even help her in the pool because she yells at me, "No Mommy I show you." Then she'll make her way down the steps and into the pool. She kicks her legs so hard as if she is swimming so fast. We have been practicing with her jumping into the pool but she kind of just walks to the edge and steps into your arms. Its pretty funny. People watch her at the pool and they always say, "Wow, I cant believe she can swim like that with just her floaties on". She is doing great. When its time to go home she never wants to leave. I'm really glad our girl loves the water. Before we know it she will be swimming without her floaties :).
