Posing With Mommy

Okay, so I really like taking pictures of everything and anything. When I'm bored it's the worst cause I will just start taking pictures of everything. So one day before work I started taking pictures of me and Hayleigh. Sometimes she loves taking pictures. She puts her cheek to mine and says cheese mommy. Other days forget it. She will scream and say, "No cheese!". Well anyway, while I was getting ready for work she decided to play dress up. She was in my closet going through my clothes and makeup. Wow, she is only 2. I can't imagine what she will do when she is older.

Baking Cupcakes

Wow, I really can't believe how big our baby girl is getting. She loves to help me do things around the house. Hopefully as she gets older she will still like to help mommy out. The other day we decided to make some cupcakes. She wanted to do everything. So like any good mom, lol, I let her. Her favorite part was mixing the batter and cracking open the eggs. After we were finished I let her lick the spoon. She had chocolate all over. It was okay because I loved watching her have fun. She really enjoyed baking cupcakes. This was her first time but I'm sure it won't be the last.

Our trip to Disney

So, this Past weekend we took our Baby Girl to Disney World for the first time. My mother in law (Patty) took her senior class to Disney for their class trip and asked us to join her for the weekend. That way she could see Hay, and Hay could get a little taste of Disney. Disney is about three hours from our house so it wasn't that bad of a drive. It was definitely worth going. Hayleigh had a blast. At first I thought she would be scared of everything because she's usually a big chicken when it comes to rides and statues, but to our surprise, she loved every minute of it. I would have to say her favorite thing was the Parade with all the characters. She waved and said hello to everyone that passed. I loved watching her eyes light up as she looked at everyone and everything. I think I was more excited to see how she was going to react then enjoying it myself, lol. We took her to the Magic Kingdom. Our first ride was "Its A Small World", which she loved and just sat there staring at everything. I don't think she has ever sat that still for anything. Then we stopped for ice cream but she didn't want any, she just wanted to go. We took her to Minnie and Mickey's house and then the slide which is where she could have played all day. Go figure. She would have been happy at the park, lol. Then we took a train ride and had lunch. She took a 20 min nap and was ready for more. The lines were so long we really didn't go on a lot of rides. Later that night we went back and watched the light parade and walked around and watched a show. By the time we got back to the hotel room it was 11 and she still wanted to go. Where do they get the energy? We really enjoyed ourselves and when Hayleigh gets older we will take her back so she can enjoy it even more.
